Great and friendly service. I had a bowl of their tasty chili and ate the hummus/avocado/turkey wrap and it was delicious. I recommend stopping here for any deli fan.

Great place to stop and get sandwiches to take to the park. My only complaint is that we got a cookie to share...and when we got to the other side of the park, we wished we had more cookies! Get a cookie for everyone!

Stopped here for a late lunch before heading up to RMNP. Best sandwich EVER. Got the Roasted & Toasted - everything about it was amazing. Fresh, soft bread. Yummy roast beef, peppers and cheese. Really good aioli. I should have gotten another to go!

Stopped here to grab a couple of sandwiches for our road trip. We ordered the hummus, turkey and avocado wraps. They were excellent. Highly recommend! Great service, promptly greeted, wrapped our sandwiches to go too.

Stopped here on a day trip, seeing Grand Lake. Great sandwiches & coleslaw! Nice Patio to eat. Just a little unorganized & confusing at the pickup/pay window. Cost was fair. Will return again.

My wife and I stopped at Cy's in August after driving through Rocky Mountain National Park. Great sandwich joint and super nice people. My wife had The Number One Melt and was very happy with it. I went with the Papa Bino. MOLTO BENE! I'd get that sandwich again without hesitation. Cy makes some darn good coleslaw, too. Place is a little small and we were there around lunch time so it felt more crowded than it actually was. Would have loved to sit outside as they have a nice set up to be able to do so, but it was raining. Will absolutely go back to Cy's the next time we are in the Estes Park, Grand Lake area.

Some of the tastiest and most creative sandwiches you will ever have. I specifically recommend the number one or the snazzy pig. They also have wonderful breakfast burritos! The employees always greet their customers with a smile! Go! Just GO!

Fabulous sandwiches and great outdoors eating area. My mom and I both enjoyed the number 1 melt and my hubby got the Papa Bini and audibly moaned in delight after the first bite.

Such a great quality and sweet staff that makes you feel like home. Perfect place to sit down at or just take out to sit at the lake.

Sometimes only letters and not words hit the brain when you bite into the perfect sandwich. W - O - W ! Those were the three I thought of when I bit into the most outstanding Reuben I have ever tasted. The homemade Kraut, swiss cheese, loaded corned beef and perfectly toasted rye rivaled the wake boarding fun we had just had on the lake, only this time in my mouth! Suzy had the Miz B's Salad and the mixture of cranberries, walnuts, crumbled goat cheese and fresh greens were explosively delicious with the balsamic vinaigrette. While all 3 of my companions quickly headed back inside, each to procure a second handsomely proportioned sandwich for the road, I took a minute to enjoy the charming patio where we were sitting, decorated with homemade planters and bright flowers. Before leaving I couldn't help but try a rich and delectable looking persuazion bar and I was not disappointed. My companions and me shared the huge treat all the way back to the boat marveling at the contrasting richness of taste and texture. Watch out Grand Lake! Your new favorite sandwich shop has come to town and it tastes delicious!

Good creative deli sandwiches and also good kids menu for a reasonable price.

Great surprise after driving Trail Ridge Rd. from Estes Park. Great selections...I actually had a hard time deciding! The homemade bread was really tasty and the service was excellent. Sat inside because it was rainy, but there's outside seating too. Not many great dining options in the area, but Cy's is definitely a gem!

Super yummy deli. Home made bread, excellent coleslaw, really fresh ingredients. Some unusual options on the menu that were really tasty. Even got a dessert bar to go that the whole family loved.

Cy's has a great selection of sandwiches, a few salads, homemade soups and even gluten free options to offer. The pastrami yummi and tic tac sandwiches hit the spot. The staff were friendly and genuine. I'll be back here next time I'm in town!

Delicious sandwiches, friendly staff. Clean! Spot on for deli food-- great lunch before heading out to hike in Rocky Mtn Natl park!

I love that Cy's has made it through some rough periods in the town of Grand Lake. I love the owners, the location, the sandwiches, and the salads. We eat here quite often, which says something for us locals. We love it!

  • Tracy K.

Excellent! 3 of us split 2 different sandwiches, a salad, and sides of macaroni salad and cole slaw. Everything was fresh and delicious. I don't usually like cole slaw, but Cy's is quite good. Enjoyed eating on their outdoor patio. Very friendly service. Highly recommended!

  • Jim V.

Great food and reasonable prices. We actually bypassed several restaurants to eat here and I'm glad we did. Great food and service! We both had the roast beef sandwiches and I have to say they were pretty tasty!

  • Cody M.

I had the Grand Ave and although the sandwich wad really good this place really socks it to you. My wife and I each got a sandwich and shared a drink. $22!! That is what we usually pay for a much larger lunch. Now that Grand Avenue was a delicious wrap. Turkey, avocado, slaw, ranch. Mmmm it was good. So if you're debating on going I would say go but be prepared to be price gouged for being in a tourist town.

Stopped in here after a long day hiking in the park. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got the #1 and it was excellent! It hit the spot!

Always friendly and quick. Best sandwiches! I love the coleslaw. Simple, light, and not creamy, this coming from a coleslaw snob. Never disappointed.

Good place to get breakfast burritos and coffee before heading out for an adventure. Great outdoor patio to enjoy your food.

Great place for great sandwiches! We have been coming here for years now. Breakfast burritos are best for miles! The two owners really care and you will never find a day where they are not there working. The tic tac is served on the most amazing bread and the pasta salad is the only one I will eat anywhere. Check this place out. Definitely worth stopping and dining in. Open in the summer.

Stopped in Sun AM to grab some to-go sandos before heading into RMNP for a day of fishing and hiking. Upon informing them we were taking them backpacking they immediately put forth some recommendations that were appropriate. Come lunch time we were more than happy with our selections, especially the baked in house bread. Lids for the sides would be nice to make it more backpacker friendly. At 10 bucks a sandwich they could have had a bit more substance...but the flavor was there! Will return!

Came to get a TO GO sandwich on our way back to Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. We were in a hurry so we wanted only a simple sandwich, but they insisted that we got a side of coleslaw or pasta salad, cause it is SOO GOOD they said. ^__^ While I was waiting for the sandwich to be made to order (I ordered the albacore tuna, my friend a BLT) a nice local gentlemen struck up a conversation. He asked me where we were traveling from and when I told him Colorado Springs he began telling me of when he was invited to enter Cheyenne Mountain and visit NORAD. He was super nice and I enjoyed his friendliness. The sandwiches were VERY good. A bit pricey at around $10 each, but still very good sammies.

Had a very good sandwich here and hung out on the patio for a bit. Had the Tic Tac, which was a roast beef sandwich with a great horseradish aioli. Had a side of slaw, which was okay but not awesome. They have a few good beers in cans like dale's pale ale. All of it is reasonably prices, with sandwiches coming in at about $10.

  • Alexis M.

I had the number one melt sandwich with a pasta salad. I was a little disappointed. Maybe i wouldn't have been as disappointed if my sandwich didn't cost $10. But it's a tourist town, so you should expect that I suppose. There were very large chucks of avacado on my sandwich that outweighed the amount of everything else in each bite and the chunks kept falling off. I also had to take the entire piece of lettuce off my sandwich because it was wilted and brown and i got the impression that my sandwich had been sitting there for a while in its own juices. It seemed to maybe be pre-made. All in all, it is most definitely not worth the price.

These people seem to really care about their customers. I had a tuna salad sandwich and pasta and my boyfriend had a roast beef sandwich. The sandwiches tasted tasted fresh and they were very good. The pasta had a little heat, but was otherwise not spiced much at all. We realized when we started our picnic that we weren't given utensils and napkins, so remember to ask for them.

  • Brian D.

$20 for a tiny sandwich and a cup of watery soup. I've never understood why you pay $2 extra for gluten free bread to get a sandwich half as big. The chicken curry soup was over curried and basically no chicken. Could have eaten it with a straw.

  • Roger S.

I was hoping for a sub, but their menu is more of the sandwich and melt variety. It's a little limited in options, but what I did have was very good. They use fresh ingredients. I observed the guy slicing a fresh avocado for my sandwich on the spot. Nice outdoor seating compound with picnic tables and umbrellas and a cold water dispenser for your use. Great experience.

I love a good deli sandwich. Got the #1 turkey and it was delicious! The side of slaw was bland and underwhelming but the sandwich was A+. We spend a few weeks a year in grand county, I'll definitely be back!

After a day of hiking we decided to take a drive to Grand Lake to kill some time, grab a bite and walk through town. Had lunch at Cy's and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of sandwiches. My wife and I split the Snazzy Pig. Very, very good. Served warm with plenty of pork - bacon and honey ham. The roasted red pepper aioli was perfect for this sandwich. Really good with friendly, fast service. Prices are way too high in my opinion, but you are in a tourism town, so high prices are to be expected, I guess. My only complaint. $9.50 for the sandwich with chips or a side included. Drink is extra.

Had a great lil deli lunch here. Got the history of cy's and a great rueben sandwich. Excellent pit stop on our cross country Harley trip.

Cy's Deli is a very good place to pick up a sandwich before heading into Rocky Mountain National Park for the day. I have tried two of their sandwiches and both were great, but I think a bit over priced. Here's what I have tried and I recommend both: The Tic Tac: Roast Beef, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Horseradish Aioli, Pickled Red Onion and Lettuce on Baked French Bread. The Number One Melt: Smoked Turkey, Avocado, Provolone Cheese, Honey Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato and Red Onion on Baked Honey Wheat Bread. Both sandwiches were $8.50 and I think $6.50 would be a more fair price considering the sizes of the sandwiches, but it is outside of a National Park so you should expect to pay more anyway.

We went with a group of 3 when we tried to go to the Fat Cat Cafe and found it closed. :( Cy's Deli was an EXCELLENT choice, though. I had the Grand Ave and was very happy with it. The pasta salad was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going through town. The service was fantastic, too.

Summary- Very good sandwich place with fresh ingredients and friendly help. Food- 3.5 Stars We had "The Option" and a Roast beef sandwich the name of which I cannot remember. Bread for both was excellent. The Option was a very good veggy sandwich, we both enjoyed it mucho. The roast beef sandwich I got was fine, but was light on the meat for me (2-3 slices flat on a pretty big roll), and it was well done roast beef which I hate. I really really liked the house coleslaw, it may have saved them from 3 stars overall. Atmosphere- 4 Stars Nice outdoor area and clean inside. Service- 4 Stars Very friendly and nice help. Value- 3 Stars About where it belongs, I think cash loses value at high altitude from what I saw.

We passed by here on the way to RMNP and had sandwiches and chili to go. There was 2 vegetarian sandwich options: hardy arty & "the option" with cream cheese. They all come with cole slaw & pasta salad. Cole slaw was fresh and flavorful. Hardy arty was tasty & fresh. Chili - has quinoa in it - was told to be too sour when eaten hot. After it cooled tasted different. would have like more if serving portion was bigger, or price lower. Otherwise, it's good!

Great deli! I had the Italian sandwich, I just forget what it was called, but it was really good! Plenty of meat, the veggies were fresh, and and the bread was nice. It all tasted excellent! The service was also very good! My only thing is that they forgot to toast my sandwich when I asked for it, but I didn't realize until I started eating it. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have taken care of it for me.

We had the vegetarian swiss artichoke sandwich and salad. It was tasty!

Simply an unexpected treasure buried deep in the Colorado Rockies where tourist towns often well under-deliver and overprice their offerings. Excellent variety, high quality, huge portion, and good value. And as a vegan, I was not only able to enjoy their veggie chili which was nicely spiced and had quinoa in it, but they were able to custom make a sandwich from a variety of their other recipe combinations and I was able to enjoy a roasted red pepper hummus with artichokes, roasted red peppers, pickled onions, lettuce, and tomato on soft and luscious honey whole wheat. In a word of numerous chain deli offerings, making a truly good sandwich is a harder art form than many fine establishments have to produce. I only wish they consider opening one in Estes, or letting me license a new location!

My brother and I stopped in for a quick breakfast and ended up having the best breakfast burritos we've ever had. Hands down. Plus terrific, friendly, honest service. Highly recommend.

What a surprising little gem in the Rockies!! Stopped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised when the sandwiches turned out to be quite delicious! Homemade bread, everything was fresh and freshly made. Portions quite generous. Great place to stop and get some sammy's before heading out to Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park!

We had the "cy's salad" and the rueben sandwich, and they were both simple and delicious, like a great little deli should be. Defiantly and good lunch stop.

  • Jennifer U.

Husband and I both had the #1 melt sandwich with pasta salad. Pasta salad is just macaroni noodles with seasoning. Sandwich would have been good if it was made with a different type of bread, the honey wheat bread is very sweet so be prepared for that or request it be made with a different bread. Sandwich was a good size, could be shared or save half for later.

Here we are 10+ of aduts and children coming in to grab a bite to eat for lunch. We all ordered something different and everything ws DELISH! You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches even the veggie soup was great!

  • Ben W.

This place is killer! It is a mandatory stop when in the area and actually worth driving out of your way to go. The first time I went, I ate two entire sandwiches because they are so amazing. The outdoor patio is a great place to hang out and enjoy your sandwich or salad with awesome afternoon sunshine, good views of the surrounding high country, flowers on the patio, and a beer. Get a sandwich and go enjoy one of Colorado's most beautiful places!

  • Andy A.

Friendly staff but the sandwiches are generally dressing or oil heavy with soso bread. Classic lays or tasteless slaw as sides.
